This past Saturday Heidi had the day off so we decided to do a long family hike. I wanted them to see the White Volta Rapids because they will disappear in a few years when the new VRA Pwalugu Dam turns the area into a lake.
The hike is 10-miles in & out and quite strenuous because you have to hike down the escarpment and then back up at the end. Nonetheless, my kids were troopers and pulled it off.
Here’s a video about the excursion and don’t miss the crazy ending!
