This past weekend William was invited to preach at the Nalerigu Baptist Association’s annual women’s ministry meeting. Ladies from over twenty Baptist churches in the area gathered together at Cornerstone Baptist Church. With COVID-19 protocols being observed, they were all masked and socially distanced – many sitting outside under trees in the overflow areas.
William preached on the greatest commandments in Matthew 22:34-40 and then used sisters Mary & Martha as examples in Luke 10:38-42. He reminded them that one cannot love God and neglect people or vice versa.
One of our favorite things they sometimes do in church is to call up volunteers from the congregation after the sermon to repeat what they heard and learned. It’s a great way to reinforce the message and encourage folks to pay attention.
