Our family doesn’t only attend one church here. Instead, we often go to a different Mamprusi village church each Sunday. Here are some video clips I shot on recent Sundays of the different worship services at the churches we attended.
Namaŋŋu is about 16 miles from us and is led by Pastor Issifu. It is attended by one of the Christian chiefs I wrote about a couple years ago.
Kolinvaai is a village about 10 miles south of us and is the church we attend the most regularly. Their pastor loves to sing and they have a woman with a great voice who leads the singing.
Sumnibooma#1 is a village about 5 miles east of us and they have the largest attendance of children of any church in the region! The video clip above shows one of their Sunday school classes singing a song of praise.
I was also excited to see that the Mampruli Bibles we distributed to their Sunday school leaders are being used to teach the kids to memorize Scripture in their heart language!
