We wish you all a very merry Christmas from our new home in Ghana!
Christmas Eve Family Time
Our Christmas in Nalerigu is quieter & simpler than those in our past.
Christmas Caroling
The Hauns participate in BMC’s annual tradition of caroling in the hospital wards on Christmas Eve.
Christmas Tree Time!
Every year we lived in Macon we would do a timelapse video of our Christmas tree setup. We missed it last year in Cordele, but couldn’t resist continuing the tradition here in Africa. It’s funny how VERY different our new home looks here than the one in Macon. Here’s the 2012 one: See all the […]
Christmas in Nalerigu (1 of 3)
Christmas day was a busy day for the Haun family. Early in the morning we went to the Faile’s house for a wonderful breakfast of cheese omelets, bacon, and muffins. 2007 Haun Christmas Card
In years past we’ve made videos for Christmas cards (2006, 2005, 2002) but this year we commissioned Boyz2Men, the top artist in Nalerigu to paint our card for us (more on him later). Merry Christmas to all!
Christmas in Nalerigu
I found this small tree in the pantry of house #7. Mona and Jane have also shared some of their Christmas decorations with us. It’s beginning to feel a bit like Christmas here in Nalerigu.
