A couple weeks ago, a lady was brought to BMC. She had fallen out of a tree and been impaled in the leg by a stick.
What was she climbing for? To get firewood.
How did she fall out? Oh, it just so happened that the tree she was climbing was being burned at the base to make it fall down…and it did.
Who brought her in? Her son.
Why was the woman climbing and not the son? We’ll never know.
What happened to her leg? It was a little graphic, so you’ll have to click to get that photo. The stick went in at her buttock and came out at the anterior hip.

She is getting better though and has very little permanent damage.
