Once again, our dear friend Denise held her annual Easter Egg hunt at her residence in Nakpanduri. This year we had quite a crowd with all the volunteers that were at BMC.
The kids split up by age and KJ joined the Cahill girls in the tree nursery to hunt for eggs. After the hunt we had a great pot luck dinner and Denise shared the 30+ year old history of the hunt with us. It all started as a way to get all the mission denominations in the region to come together and have a face-to-face discussion about how to handle the refugee crisis caused by tribal conflict in the area. It’s really neat to be a part of something that this one lady started so many years ago to have an impact in Mamprugu.
