For the last five years we’ve been in Ghana we almost always get lunch after church at a local joint called “All There Chop Bar“.

Since we often return late from driving out to village churches, it is convenient to stop by All There Chop Bar and grab food that is ready to go and take it home.
waakyi friend chicken groundnut stew
They serve wakyii (rice and beans), dakunu (kenkey), banku, and sa’akoro (fufu). They also have fried chicken, fish and plantains.
William always gets banku with light soup where as the rest of the family prefers kenkey and groundnut stew. If our timing works out that some fresh pounded fufu is ready, then we definitely grab that one.
Usually we spend 5-7 cedis to feed the whole family and have leftovers for the dog. That comes to around $0.80-$1.25 !
