This December 15th marked our 20th wedding anniversary. Thanks to the kindness of George & Elizabeth Faile, Heidi and I were able to get away for the night at a nice hotel in Bolgatanga. It was our first “date night” in a long time!

We spent a good portion of the evening re-watching our 20-year-old wedding videos that William had digitized last year in the U.S. during our pandemic lockdown.
Heidi surprised William with an incredible gift. Over the past few months, she had been making small, postcard-sized watercolor paintings of memorable moments from each of the last 20 years. Here is the collection below:
