When we were in the US in 2019, KJ and Trey both attended Keswick Christian School in St. Petersburg, Florida. KJ did pre-K there and loved her class.
When we came back to Ghana, KJ transitioned into homeschooling with William. She definitely missed the social aspects of the classroom setting so we enrolled her in a local primary school.
Sunesis Vine School is run by Ms. Amy Baba and she has created the best school in Nalerigu. KJ only attends part-time but loves going there every day.
A couple months ago, KJ and William created this video for her friends at Keswick in the US to see her new school:
As a result, the Keswick primary school students held a fundraiser with the goal of raising $1000 for Sunesis Vine. Somehow, they managed to raise over $2300 for the school in Ghana!
In March 2022, a team from our home church Seminole First Baptist Church came to visit us and do ministry alongside of us here in Northern Ghana. Marilyn Mott was part of the team is a kindergarten teacher at Keswick. She gave the gift to Ms. Baba on behalf of the Keswick students. She was … overwhelmed, to say the least.
