We’re back in the States and have had a crazy couple of weeks. We attended a conference in North Carolina and then emptied our Macon home and moved to Cordele, GA. All within a week of getting back! Heidi has started a one-year general surgery fellowship at Crisp Regional Hospital, Trey has started 2nd grade […]
Fabric Shopping
Most clothes women wear in our region are made out of these fabrics. They create elaborate outfits with layers of fabric. Sometimes they use one pattern, other times there is a “theme” to the fabric, and sometimes they just mix & match. At the hospital patients will bring sheets of fabric to use for bedding, […]
Trey & the Chameleon

Puppy Love
The missionary family whose house we are now living in left us quite a surprise. They had three dogs (a male and two females) and the two females had just given birth to 13 puppies. They are really young and pretty much just nurse and sleep at this point. Trey still loves going out back […]

Moto Travel
Here’s a brief clip shot from the back of the moto I rode for 6 hours (!) to the Togo border. It was totally worth the discomfort to see new church plants, hear inspiring testimonies from church leaders, and be an encouragement to new believers.
